Excellent Fit, Finish and Appearance but nutserts too long
Excellent Fit & Finish but M6 nutserts provided were too long, Very happy with the results installed. Installation went very well, except the 18mm long M6 nutserts provided were too long, and 5 of the 6 nutserts needed to be cut shorter for each side. Why? On my 2019 GC there is internal unibody structural steel baffling about 15mm behind 5 of the 6 drill holes required for the nutserts on each side. I did not want to drill deeper into the body rocker panels to accommodate the 18mm nutserts provided with the kit.. I cut 10 of the nutserts shorter to 15mm. (Hint: Amazon AISN B07K84M3XS / UXcell A18091900ux0035 nutserts, at 15mm length, should fit correctly). Other observations: page 4, 10 - As written in the instructions, be sure to wear approved eye protection when drilling all the holes; very important ! page 6 - The upper snap-fit tabs on the plastic OEM rocker trim panels will crack slightly when pryed away. I see no way around this. page 11 - A cheaper 'rotating-bolt' nutsert installation tool works also, but a pop-rivet-like nutsert tool, as recommended, is more reliable. page 13 - My GC had clear polycarbonate adhesive bungs, not rubber ones. They cannot be re-installed. Use aluminum adhesive-back roof sealing tape or similar. I cut the nut plate 'lollipop' stems shorter to fit within the bung opening. ENJOY! From Offroad Animal, Thanks for the review Paul. Intent is to drill deeper to accommodate the nutserts but thanks for sharing your tips

Which rails to go for?
Between these and the steps I chose these based on price. I will say because I got the rack too I wish I had got the steps version. But these look so clean they remind me of a factory Jeep rail except tougher! I have the rear bumper along with the front and the rails and rack plus some accessories. All of these products are the best looking protective equipment you could put on a new Grand Cherokee! Thick steel and correct fitment makes them a breeze to work with. If your not sure which rail to choose think about your needs and go from there. I needed protection but with my wife driving and being shorter than me I worried about her pants or legs rubbing the step on the exit, but when I go camping or washing it I wish I had steps on the side. I just use the door entry seal but it’s awkward.

2020 Grand Cherokee trail hawk
Great product , look good little more ground clearance . install took much longer than planed. Be sure you have very good high quality drill bits as the under side of car is much harder steel that under doors. Also be sure you have charged batteries for your tools.

Wk2 rock rails
I purchased the Offroad Animal rock rails for my wife’s 2015 WK2. Shipping was fast, upon opening the product I was blown away by the quality and durability these rock rails provide for just $600. If your looking to get rid of that plastic junk Jeep provides look no further then Offroad Animal. Installation was a breeze, they look amazing, and add just a quality look to the wk2!!!
