BASH PLATE, GRAND CHEROKEE WK2, 2011-2021
This is a very nice product and is relatively easy to install. Attaching the bash plate itself is a no-brainer. But there's a trick to pulling off the fascia; fortunately I found a video on a competitor's website that perfectly illustrated the proper technique. Also, the installation instructions mention the 5 quarter turn clips but my 2020 WK2 Trailhawk actually has 7 of those. The plate is machined to fit perfectly using the exact oem bolt holes. There are also openings on the outer wings of the plate to accommodate the factory bolt clips used to reattach the fender well liners on each side. The unfinished aluminum looks really nice. Can't wait to get back on the trail.

Finally, some actual protection for the sump
Not sure why the Trailhawk would come with stamped steel skid plates and a plastic sump cover. The ORA Bash Plate is a great design and still leaves plenty of room for oil and filter changes. To make it even easier, I added a Fumoto valve so I can get samples and drain the oil with zero mess.

Bash Plate Fitment
The Bash Plate fir perfectly well onto the existing mounting holes. It has come in handy already with protecting the front end. Even though we are not to aggressive when offroading (at this time) It covers more area of the undercarriage. I like the fact that you can remove the small plate as an access point for oil changes. I believe this plate is more than sturdy and is better designed than the competitors
