Unfortunately not all Wk2 Grand Cherokees come with tow hooks. Enter Offroad Animal, offering this affordable pair. These are essential for getting your rig towed out when you get bogged or stuck, or helping out your friends or even strangers in a similar predicament. You can now look as cool as the Trailhawks and have confidence sporting some tough tow points for all your Jeeping adventures.

This is a Pair. The kit is comes with 4 tow plates that once fitted act as 2 separate tow points 1 RH and 1 LH.

FAQ: I want a Nudge Bar or Front Bumper - why can't I keep my tow hooks ?

The WK2 is a unibody (not a body on Frame chassis design). There are only 2 bolt hole locations, one left and one right, suitable for mounting tow hooks or a bumper bar. Therefore to allow a customer to install tow hooks, the offroad steel bumper, and the nudge bar, we had to engineer a solution to provide a means to secure all 3 heavy duty components through a single mount. The design we developed (which we think is pretty dam awesome !) uses the Offroad Animal Tow Hooks as the primary attachment to the vehicle, and the other items (the offroad steel bumper and the nudge/bull bar) mount to the Offroad Animal tow hooks. This solution allows us to have a single design for the three components, allowing the following combinations:

tow hooks only
tow hooks and nudge bar
tow hooks and offroad steel bumper
tow hooks and offroad steel bumper and nudge bar

The only downside of this design is that customers who love their current tow hooks (sorry Trailhawkers) will have to depart with them. Unfortunately Jeep was not thinking about your desire to upgrade your front end when they designed their tow hooks. The flip side is our tow hooks are themselves pretty awesome too, are a safer means for recovery being a closed recovery system (vs an open system for open hooks), and they provide a means to dramatically enhance the look and performance of the front of your Jeep !

FAQ: Colors besides red ?

Currently you can order this product in any color you like, as long as it's Red. We have seen very little demand for alternative colors. By far the most commonly preferred color is red. We have no immediate plans to offer raw or custom colors at this stage. Customers who absolutely must have a different color will be required to either blast and resurface the tow hooks, or prime and repaint over the existing surface

Tow Hooks for WK2

Great product. Tow hooks are heavy duty, installation was straight forward. I did have to cut out the lower fascia section for the hooks (Summit Trim) which is not a problem, just take your time. Will definitely look to add the bull bar in the future.

Awesome looking on our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited! Easy to install. Definitely stout enough to do the job… when necessary! Thanks for a great product at a great price! Looking forward to adding a nudge bar to nudge deer in Idaho!

Awesome Tow Hooks!

Installed on 2014 Dodge Durango Limited V6 with lower fascia cutting required. My cuts aren't perfect and they don't show except when very close. 3/4" D-rings fit well once enough fascia is carved away. I am planning on replacing lower front fascia with custom prerunner skid plate that will use the OFA tow hook mounting holes.

Just installed OffRoad Animal tow hooks on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee..... These things are bulletproof..... Fit and finish worth every penny.... I do prefer the D-ring style tow hooks.... Put the strap in, and don't worry about it coming off.... Had a mind fart when I got them, called to ask a question...... And low and behold, Luke called me back to have a chat.... The owner!!!!!! That alone should tell you something about his commitment to his products..... And if anyone wants to know you can install them angled outward.... It's not easy, but did it to mount an aftermarket bullbar with these hooks.... Wish I could post a pic.... My Jeep looks incredible!!!!! Thanks to OffRoad Animal.... Maybe a Predator bumper someday.....
